Representatives from the fields of Anthropology, Folklore, Gender Studies, and Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance will discuss their experiences conducting fieldwork as queer scholars. Speakers will address some of the particular challenges facing queer scholars conducting ethnographic research in a variety of communities, archeological sites, and archives. There will be time for discussion afterward so that attendees can raise their own questions.
