School of Education Advance to Teaching Advising Session

Do you hold a bachelor's degree in a field other than teacher education, but wish to teach in secondary schools? Our "Advance to Teaching" post-baccalaureate certificate leads to teaching licensure for grades 5-12 in one of 17 content areas: economics, French, journalism, language arts, mathematics, physics, psychology, reading, life science, earth/space science, physical science, chemistry, historical perspectives, government and citizenship, geographical perspectives, sociology and Spanish. Completing the "A2T" program and passing all required Indiana Department of Education exams will earn candidates an Indiana teaching license. Applicants interested in pursuing the Advance to Teaching program must attend an advising session.
