PPI 25th Anniversary Celebration and Symposium
Twenty-five years ago the Indiana University Public Policy Institute was established as the Center for Urban Policy and Environment. Michael Carroll and leaders from IU's School of Public and Environmental Affairs understood that making high-quality applied research and data analysis more accessible would enable Indiana community leaders to create positive change and a better quality of life for Hoosiers.
To celebrate 25 years of PPI's contributions to Indiana, we are holding a one day "Ideas to Action" workshop to highlight the progress communities have made from implementing recommendations from the Thriving Communities, Thriving State report. We will also identify actions needed for continued progress.
A reception to celebrate the founding and contributions of PPI will immediately follow the day-long workshop.
