Timothy D. Imler, M.D.


Dr. Imler will discuss the available resources of healthcare data for education and research that are available through the Regenstrief Institute as well as the regulations and costs associated with their use.

About Timothy Imler

Dr. Imler is board certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Informatics, and Gastroenterology. Dr. Imler’s research interest is in the use of existing data and emerging technologies to support research and clinical care.

Dr. Imler received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his internal medicine residency, served as Chief Resident, and completed a GI fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine.  He completed a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from Indiana University and a Medical Informatics fellowship through the Regenstrief Institute.

He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and is a Research Scientist in the Center for Biomedical Informatics at the Regenstrief Institute. He serves as the Medical Director of Research Services at the Regenstrief Institute.
