Creating an IUScholarWorks Account
There are two methods for creating an IUScholarWorks account:
• Users with an IU Login should select the "IU Log in" button to create an account and log in.
• Users without an IU Login should click "New external user? Click here to register" to create an account.
Important:
IU users should always click the IU Log in button.
Logging into IUScholarWorks
• Users with an IU Login should select the "IU Log in" button to log in.
• Users without an IU Login should enter their email address and password, then click the "External User Log in" button to log in.
Requesting Submission Permissions
After you create an IUScholarWorks account, you must request permission to submit to a collection in the repository.
Email iusw@indiana.edu with the information below:
- Full name
- IU username / email address
- IU departmental affiliation
- Brief description of the content you will be depositing
- Name and permanent link for the collection(s) where you want to deposit your content (optional)
Note:
If IUScholarWorks does not have an appropriate collection for your work, please fill out our New Collection Request Form.
