Qualtrics is a cloud-based survey tool available to all faculty, staff, and students in the SoIC. To start using Qualtrics, you will need to self-register following these instructions:

(Note: If you already have a Qualtrics account, you can upgrade that account to be part of the SoIC division using these instructions, but skipping steps 2 and 3)

1 - Go to . Log into CAS with the Network ID for the account you would like to use with Qualtrics.
2 - Click 'I don't have a Qualtrics account'.
3 - Accept the Qualtrics terms of service.
4 - In the upper right corner, click your name and select Account Settings....
5 - On the User Settings page, select Upgrade Account.
6 - In the "Upgrade Code:" field, enter your upgrade code*. Click Upgrade Account.

Your account will now be placed in the proper division with designated access that your upgrade code allows.

*To obtain your Upgrade Code, please post a request on the SoIC Helpdesk.

Be sure to enter the Upgrade Code exactly as you see it, with the correct case, and the underscore. Not doing so will leave you in the Default Division, and you won’t really be able to do much of anything.
