Adding S/MIME certificate to email clients.

Setting up on Thunderbird

Adding S/MIME Certificate to Thunderbird:

  1. Click on the Three Bars in the upper right corner
  2. Go to Preferences > Preferences
  3. Move to the Advanced Section and click on the certificates tab.
  4. Click View Certificates and then Import.
  5. Select the .p12 or .pfx file downloaded during certificate creation.
  6. Close and go to Preferences > Account Settings.
  7. Select the account you want to add the certificate to and select Security.
  8. Under Digital Signing click select and choose the appropriate certificate.
  9. (Optional) Check the box that says Digitally sign messages by default
